By the Trades, For the Trades

A plumber's kid built this. His shop runs it every day.

NectARM is owned and operated by Pype-Dream LLC d/b/a NectARM, based in the Pacific Northwest. The founder is the son of a plumber — now an apprentice plumber himself — and he wrote the whole system: the board, the isometric CAD, the invoicing, the portal. The plumbing shop he apprentices at runs it daily. Anonymous on purpose; real on Mondays.

He grew up hearing about it at the dinner table. The field report that never made it back to the office. The follow-up call somebody meant to make. The part that went on the job and never on the invoice. Then he apprenticed and watched the same things happen in real time — plus the dispatcher guessing where the vans were at 10 AM.

Other shops told the same story. Different software, same seams — a pile of tools that don't talk to each other, and a business leaking through the gaps. So he wrote the thing he wished existed: one record that follows a call all the way to a paid invoice, with the whole-home drawing in the same product.

That's still the test. Not "did the demo look good" — did the job get scheduled, did the van have the part, did the invoice go out. He tests every feature on his own work, in the shop where he pulls cable and runs calls. If it doesn't hold a real Monday, it doesn't ship.

We still look at the board the way a shop looks at it — because one of us is standing in front of it.

How we run it

The principles the product can't break.

Your data lives on your box.

The system installs on a machine your shop owns — we don't host you on our cloud. Field access rides an encrypted tunnel. Cancel anytime; your records were never ours to hold.

Prices are on the site.

Published, flat for the shop — no per-technician games, no "call us for a quote" maze. The numbers are right here because shops shouldn't have to sit through a demo to learn what it costs.

If it's not in the app, it's not on the site.

Every page describes shipping software. Demos are labeled demos. Roadmap items say "building toward," not "included." Nobody here sells vaporware — the shop would find out first anyway.

Plumbing first, honestly.

The first customer is a plumbing company and the CAD is plumbing-native. The board, jobs, and invoicing fit other service trades too — but we'll publish those pages when the product earns them, not before.

The product

Software for service shops. Office and field share one system, and nine roles keep each person on their own screen. Whole-home isometric CAD lives in the same product as the board — the drawing, the takeoff, and the invoice describe the same job. Softphone, shop caller ID, porting, desk SIP, and Buzz after-hours are add-ons, not the monthly base.

The company

Pype-Dream LLC d/b/a NectARM, Pacific Northwest. Small on purpose — the person who answers is the person who wrote the code.

If you want to see it working

If you run a service shop and the current stack is a pile of tabs, talk to us. We'll walk the real product — the board, a whole-home drawing, an invoice — not a slide deck.
